Skin boosters are an injectable treatment which involve tiny molecules of a gel type substance placed beneath the skin.
Unlike dermal fillers which are used to create volume and fullness, skin hydrators work to improve the skin's overall quality by boosting hydration levels.
This improves the texture and feel of your skin as well as elasticity and firmness. Skin hydrators work by pulling and holding moisture into the gel particle which keeps the skin hydrated and looking radiant.
Skin hydrators are a clinically proven treatment for the face, neck, décolletage and hands. Visible improvements can be seen soon after an initial course of treatments. Maintenance is easy too! Most treatments typically spread 3 - 6 months apart.

Whilst providing deep skin hydration, skin hydrators can also help improve the appearance of fine lines and imperfections such as acne scars.
Skin hydrators can be used independently, or as part of an overall treatment programme with other cosmetic injectables, such as dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections. This treatment is also suitable for men and women.
You may see some results immediately however the effect builds up gradually and subtly. You will see the full effect of your treatment within 2-4 weeks from the day of your session.
The results, which are natural yet noticeable, can last up to 6 months, or longer. Each patient is different, therefore, results will vary.
Hyaluronic acid injections are performed with a micro-puncture technique that involves injecting very small amounts of hyaluronic acid into the mid to deep dermis of the skin, between 1-2 centimetres apart. Once they are injected, the hyaluronic acid is distributed evenly and smoothly into the skin, which provides that long lasting, hydrated, firm and plumped effect to the skins surface. During the treatment you may feel minor discomfort, you can use a local anaesthetic to numb the area, providing you with a more comfortable treatment. Each session can take around 30-45 minutes. Hyaluronic acid injections can be performed on the face, neck and even on the hands.
Both products are made from hyaluronic acid, however Skinbooster are designed to hydrate, plump and improve the elasticity of the skin, and do not structure, or shape the skin. Dermal fillers are designed to shape and proportion the face by enhancing the facial features. Skinbooster effects are a lot more subtle than dermal fillers & have a completely different purpose to each other.
